Step 2 If you click on the reserve button for your desired room, you will automatically be taken to our reservation page, where you just have to follow the instructions. Very important! Please only make one reservation at a time. Multiple reservations DO NOT increase the chance of getting a room at “Hotel Mama”. If you want to be on the safe side, transfer the deposit for the booked room immediately after making your reservation.
Step 3 After a successful reservation, you will receive a confirmation email from us. Please read carefully and transfer the deposit to SRTI. You can find the account details in the reservation confirmation.
Step 4 We prefer the payment of the deposit through banktransfer or SEPA if this is possible for you. Otherwise, you can also pay the deposit in cash at our office, Heisenbergstrasse 17, 33104 Paderborn, Germany. To do this, please make an appointment with us. Please note that when paying in cash, the first rent must also be paid in addition to the deposit. We will also issue you a receipt for the payment..
Step 5 Unfortunately, we do not offer viewings. However, if you are eager to see the room or apartment, you are welcome to go directly to the apartment and ring the doorbell of the current tenants/students. We cannot guarantee that the student will be willing to show you his private room. For your convenience, we can share videos or photos of the current shared rooms via WhatsApp.
Step 6 As soon as the deposit has been received in our bank account, you will receive a notification from us that the payment has been received and we will block the room for you. From this moment on you have a safe room in the “Hotel Mama” and can relax until your move-in date. We will then invite you to our office to sign the contract so that we can get to know you better.
Step 7 After paying the deposit and submitting the required documents (copy of your ID card, visa/residence permit and a copy of your certificate of enrollment or admission from the preparatory college or student ID card, by email or WhatsApp), we ask you to contact us via WhatsApp to arrange an appointment to arrange the signing of the contract and handover of the keys in our office. Please note that the earliest you can move in is 5 p.m. Earlier move-in is only possible by arrangement. With the rental agreement you will also receive the landlord’s certificate from us, which you will need in addition to the rental agreement for registering with the city, the apartment key and other documents about your room. Just like at home, there are rules at Hotel Mama that we would like to recommend to you so that coexistence with each other and with SRTI employees works wonderfully
Step 8 For the monthly rent, we will give you a SEPA direct debit when you sign the rental agreement, which must be filled out. SEPA has the advantage that you don’t have to worry about transferring your rent. The rent is automatically deducted from your account at the beginning of the month. If you do not have a bank account at the beginning of your stay in Paderborn, we also accept cash payments, but the rent for the first two months must be paid together.
Step 9 Please note that your bank account has to be covered for the monthly rent, so SEPA automatically works properly on the 2nd of each month. For chargebacks we will charge a cancellation fee of 15 euros. Transfers should be made to our account by the 2nd of each month at the latest. If payment is delayed by more than 8 days, an extra 15 EUR reminder fee will be charged. For more than 28 days, a reminder and late fee of EUR 30 will be charged.
